WHAT IS UNIVERSE?
Universe is a second screen experience for live T.V. shows. It encourages the user to delve into the show’s universe while it’s on.
The tablet-focused application displays content that is relevant from the show as the user is watching it. Information such as actors, lore, and merchandise are displayed. There is also a real time chat feature where the user can add their comments on the show.

THE PROBLEM BEING SOLVED
Live T.V is dwindling, so our goal was to make it more appealing – and to encourage people to watch shows live. We believe that by giving the user a better live T.V experience, it will increase show and program ratings.
Since Universe allows the user to review show information on characters, past episodes, and events, this means that there is less time to go through separate apps, online, or other sources to get similar information.
